The Your County Historical Society has been in existence since 1928. The Society promotes knowledge of Your County's history through our publications, our museums, our research library, and through educational events.

Our Facilities

Museum

Our museum includes exhibits representing businesses that operated in the county as well as machinery from some of the county’s grist mills, a gun shop and artifacts from county garages, and more.

Research Library

The Your County Historical Society Library is located at 777 North First Street in Your Town. The collections include family histories, church and school records, and more items related to local history.
